WHAT DOES AN IGI CERTIFICATE EVALUATE?

CARAT WEIGHT
Carat weight indicates the size of a diamond. The larger the diamond, the higher its value generally is.
COLOR
Color is graded according to an international scale ranging from D to Z. D–F diamonds are considered the highest color grade because they are almost completely colorless and offer exceptional brilliance. Essenti collections exclusively feature E–F color diamonds.
CLARITY

Cut
Cut is one of the most important factors affecting a diamond’s brilliance. The brilliant cut is designed to reflect the maximum amount of light and enhance the diamond’s natural beauty. WHY ARE COLOR AND CLARITY SO IMPORTANT?
Two diamonds of the same size can have completely different values.
For example, a 1-carat diamond with E color and VVS clarity can be significantly more valuable than a diamond of the same size with lower quality grades.
Therefore, when evaluating a diamond, it is important to consider not only its carat weight but also its color, clarity, and cut. This is why an independent certificate is one of the most important indicators of quality.
